Privacy on Kiai Gaming

Kiai Gaming uses a Google Analytics cookie to track various statistics about visitors to the site. This is a completely anonymous process and the data that are gathered can never be linked to an individual person.

The stats are occasionally looked at to check things like which browsers people use to visit the site, which mobile operating systems are used by mobile visitors and so on; technical data to make sure that the site is accessible to as many people as possible.

If you prefer to block Google Analytics, then one of the best ways to do so is to use Ghostery. It’s a browser addon that shows you what is tracking you as you browse the web, and lets you block those trackers. Kiai Gaming uses the native WordPress commenting system, so blocking everything in Ghostery should still let you leave comments on the site.

Social sharing

The social sharing widget on individual posts is beacon-free, which means that the text and images are stored locally on Kiai Gaming. Social media networks will not be able to see that you visited a page on Kiai Gaming (or, indeed, the site at all) unless you share something using the widget, or you visited a page on this website using a link from one of those networks.

Additionally, the social media icons at the top of every page are generated using a font which is served locally from this site.

Email addresses that are submitted to the site for commenting (or any other) purposes will never be shared with third parties. They are only requested to help to make sure that any given commenter is actually who they say they are, and to help to fight against abuse and spam.

Every comment that you leave on Kiai Gaming belongs to you, and you can ask for any of them to be removed at any time via email.
